Query: I recite Hare Krishna Mantra and the Gayatri Mantra. Starting with loud recitation and gradually slowing down volume and speed and then silent recitation... Is that ok?

You are proceeding on the path of absolute Spirituality. Inherently, your Kundalini is getting awakened because of the chanting of Mantras. If you continue proceeding on the path of spirituality, you shall lose your wife and father.

The Moha within you will reduce to an extent that for you shall start treating your wife as your sister. Your father in the physical sense will give way to the Eternal father, the Creator of the cosmos.

Your have reached a stage in your life when you have to decide your goal.

Do you intend to achieve Moksha in this life or not? There is no other goal to pursue. Either you want to become a Rama or achieve the level of a Mahavira or Buddha. The first being the highest goal one can achieve in physical life.

To reach the 8.4 millionth manifestation ... is the culmination of your Cosmic journey as an Atman ... Whichever path to choose ... Decision rests with you!

Full text of query: I recite silently the Hare Krishna Mantra whenever my mind is free and wish dearly for Salvation, 'Vairagya' feelings are on the increase as far as this 'samsara'is concerned and i receit The 'Gayatri Mantra'. I start with loud recitation and then gradually slowing down the volume and the speed and then on to silent recitation, all this time i am seated crossed legged with my eyes closed, slowly after only some time, what happens,i suddenly get a jerk or something like an electric shock,beginning from my lower back it fast climbs up like a snake and i feel like my whole being is reduced to a point which is felt at the center of my forehead,its a strong pull at the center.

This lasts only some time, after that i experience a feeling of bliss, total bliss! However, i have stopped this practice for some days now since i have experienced changes in my temperament, like i get angry frequently and am not able to maintain relationships, isolate myself and generally fall short in staying with the the world,i hope you understand what i mean to say, like i become least interested in sex and think more and more about renunciation-you see i am not able to balance, and then somebody told me to stop this Meditation and look for some right guidance first. tell me your frank opinion without keeping anything.
