Your experiences relate to awakening of your Kundalini. It is intermittent but always on the rise. This Kundalini Shakti... the Kundalini energy is never repressive... it arises from the base of the spine and the goal is to reach the centre of the forehead. It is at this point it merges with the supreme power... our soul atman within our body.

And lo! We experience an awakening... enlightenment forever.

One whose Kundalini has been fully awakened becomes Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed.

Every enlightened being had ones Kundalini awakened fully. In the absence of the Kundalini awakening... gaining enlightenment is never possible.

To differentiate between two awakened persons is like comparing Gautama Buddha with Jesus Christ. Both have reached the end goal of their life. Both have gained enlightenment. The path of both had been different. The end goal always remaining the same!

One whose Kundalini has awakened fully... reaches the climax of cosmic life. One reaches 8.4 millionth manifestation... the last in the cycle of cosmic life. Kundalini having awakened one reaches the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi. It is the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi reaching which one comes face-to-face with God Almighty.

It is in the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi that one can have a permanent communion with God on one-to-one basis. Ever since I realized God in 1993... I can at my will commune with God Almighty on one-to-one basis always and ever. That experience just can never be described in words.

Kundalini awakening is not a small experience per se. It is the crux of life. It is the end of life itself. Whose Kundalini awakened, Gained salvation at the end of their physical manifested life. One finally reaches the kingdom of God aka Baikuntha in Hinduism.

Right from the first manifestation as an amoeba and to the last as an enlightened human being... the goal of life had always been to reach the abode of God aka Baikuntha in Hinduism at the earliest.

In the last about 150 years only two persons have gained self realization. They were Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana. Both these gentlemen awakened their Kundalini in their lifetime and gained enlightenment and finally salvation.

Both reached the house of God at the end part of their physical manifestation. Liberated from cycle of Birth and Death forever... these awakened souls need not return to the earthly fold for manifesting a physical body again.

The cycle of cosmic life having completed... these liberated souls atmans shall gain a new body... a new manifestation only after the collapse of the present Cosmos. It is only with the formation of a new cosmos with a big bang shall all these liberated souls atmans restart their physical manifested life. Never before!

As a Christian it must be clearly understood that awakening of Kundalini in totality makes one reach the level of Jesus Christ. Every single human being who has awakened ones Kundalini gains enlightenment and finally salvation within ones lifetime. One becomes a living Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or prophet Mohammed.

By this statement I am not belittling the stature of all man gods like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed. But the fact remains that every enlightened soul reaches the abode of God as did Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed.

You may travel from New York to Chicago second-class or first-class... the fact is both reached Chicago. The ultimate crux of life is reaching the end of the journey.

And this is what you are experiencing... the awakening of your Kundalini that can directly lift you to the level of Jesus Christ. But is that really possible within your lifetime?

For the simple reason that in the history of mankind only two ladies gained enlightenment and finally salvation. There has never been dearth of men gaining enlightenment and this fact probably confirms that to gain enlightenment one needs to manifest the form of a man in the final stages of life. Why?

And who were these two ladies who gained enlightenment in their lifetime. One was Gargi... the famous Indian philosopher and the other Maitreyi... wife of Sage Jnanavalakya.

The Gargi and the Maitreyi colleges in New Delhi, the capital of India are reminiscent of the glorious deeds of these two enlightened ladies.

Is there a cause or a reason why ladies do not gain enlightenment directly in the female form? Perhaps there is a cause... a reasoning... all a creation by God Almighty.

And the cause is that the feeling of motherhood... the bondage which a mother feels for a child is so strong that to go beyond this factor of motherhood is rather impossible for most ladies.

Whoever lifts self beyond this factor of motherhood can gain enlightenment by awakening of her Kundalini in totality. Only then a lady can gain enlightenment and finally salvation within this life.

The bondage of motherhood... that irrepressible act of belonging... you may often find this bondage of motherhood getting activated whenever any lady finds a child in distress. The child may be hers or not... is immaterial... the longing to help always exists within every woman.

And this bondage of motherhood stops most woman from gaining enlightenment within their lifetime.

Cut across the shackles of this bondage of motherhood... and thee shall gain enlightenment within your lifetime.

The practice of celibacy for awakening of Kundalini must be mastered in totality. How many times one prays is immaterial... the question is getting everything in order.

Rightly understood... there is only one man... one Purusha in whole Cosmos as believed in Advaita Vedanta concept of Hinduism... rest all are ladies. The differentiation between a man and woman exists from the physical senses point of view.

In the cosmic domain all are but a cluster of atoms and molecules.

If our goal of gaining enlightenment and finally salvation in this life is clear... none can stop us from awakening of our Kundalini! Contemplation on the most feared factor, the sex as was done by Gargi is a necessity for practicing celibacy in right earnestness.

Gargi, the famous Indian philosopher was once challenged by pundit Mandana Mishra for a wordy duel in the presence of above 10,000 renowned priests and sages of that era. The subject of the discussion was to be chosen extempore.

Thinking that sex is a perverted matter, a taboo for public discussion... pundit Mandana Mishra fixed the subject of discussion as sex with the hope that he would defeat a female, the Sage Gargi in a wordy duel forthright.

His contemplation of the subject of sex was without a cause. Pundit Mandana Mishra was yet to capture the true meaning of the word sex. He underestimated philosopher Gargi. No sooner the wordy duel started... it was nothing but perspiration for pundit Mandana Mishra.

Philosopher Gargi elaborated on the topic of sex that made even the most devout men wonder with awe! None had anticipated that a lady could discuss on the forbidden topic of sex with such clarity. The wordy duel continued for days and in the end pundit Mandana Mishra succumbed to the forceful logistics put forward by Sage Gargi.

It was a complete defeat for the world of men. The whole community of men was put to shame because of pundit Mandana Mishra. As per the terms of discussion pundit Mandana Mishra was to become a slave of philosopher Gargi for life.

It was a torture which pundit Mandana Mishra never thought of. Philosopher Gargi... the wonderful lady she was forgave Pundit Mandana Mishra.

Gargi had demonstrated the strength of her character externally and internally. She was absolutely clear on the topic of sex. According to Gargi there was only one Karta doer in whole Cosmos and that was Almighty God aka Brahman, Parmatman and Bhagwan in Hinduism.

Mounted with the will power of Gargi... you can also win your battle. Control of celibacy is not a child's play yet not unachievable. If Gargi can do it... if Maitreyi achieved it... so can others and you. Contemplate on the topic of sex with right earnestness... dive deep into the topic of sex and thee shall win the end.

Sage Jnanavalakya was an enlightened soul. His commentary... the famous Brihadaranakya Upanishad is a doctrine par excellence. When Sage Jnanavalakya asked permission of his wife Maitreyi to leave for the confines of the forests for final contemplation and gaining salvation... his wife begged of him for accompanying him along.

Sage Jnanavalakya refused. Maitreyi, a highly accomplished woman who was never after the ephemeral phase of life desired that Sage Jnanavalakya teach her the pearls of wisdom for gaining enlightenment and finally salvation!

By wit and merit she finally convinced Sage Jnanavalakya to permit her to accompany him to the confines of the forests. There Maitreyi finally learnt of the wisdom that led her to gaining enlightenment within her lifetime.

To summarize in the end... the awakening of Kundalini makes a surge of vital energy in the body. This energy can be used for creative purposes and gaining enlightenment.

Some of the experiences while awakening of Kundalini are really frightening. We must face them head-on. The blank stare of the Cobra... the multi-faced Cobra trying to scare us down must be faced without a feeling of fear.

Slowly we shall overcome the Kundalini Shakti... the Serpentine energy lying coiled in our spine.

Full text of query: I have been looking for more information on the connection of vows of celibacy to kundalini experiences for years. This is the first time I found a website with the two connected. I am sure they were out there, and glad I found this site. But it talks of men being celibate for 12 years, ...is this the same truth for women as well? Or is that a different situation?
