To be one with God

Query: To be one with God: I live in US and was born in India. My main purpose in life is to be one with god. I think it is intrinsically related to my not feeling connected with God. I would be indebted if you could shower grace for me to feel connected with God.

The problem lies in the fact that your shraddha in God is not hundred percent. Inherently you want to proceed on the path of God Realization ... yet the physical wants prevent it. You have to learn to maintain a balance between your Spiritual and physical life. Unless you do the same ... you shall always keep unhealthy ... the prime reason being ... Atman within you wants Liberation at the earliest ... your physical activities prevent the same.

Full text of query: I live in US and was born in India. My main purpose in life is to be one with god. However, I have been feeling quite unwell. Doctors are unable to diagnose the problem. I think it is intrinsically related to my not feeling connected with God. I have no work or personal problems otherwise. I am tired of people/gurus trying to teach techniques and therefore not looking for technique or advise. I would be much indebted if you could shower grace for me to feel more connected with God.
